A trip to Jodrell Bank

Today I went to Jodrell Bank with my brother. It was great.
The recently opened the First Light Pavilion, which is an exhibition space and "space dome". We watched two short films in the space dome which were about the history of the Lovell telescope. It's always nice to be reminded of all the amazing things humanity are doing in science, instead of reading about wars and other depressing stuff in the news. Also in the First Light Pavilion is the cafe. They had a range of vegan and non-vegan pies, served with mushy peas and pickled cabbage - actually delicious.
